Campus/Placement Cell
Placement Cell

Run every campus drive from one board, and prepare students before the company arrives.

The placement officer posts a drive, Gradlit filters eligible students from live academic records, students apply with one tap, and shortlists, interview rounds and offers are tracked to the last letter. AI points out which students to prepare for which drive and which skills they are missing.

Placement Cell
What staff do now
  • Eligibility is checked by hand against CGPA and backlog lists that are already out of date.
  • Student resumes arrive in a dozen formats, a day before the company needs them.
  • Interview rounds and results are passed around on messaging groups.
  • Year-end placement reports take weeks to assemble for NAAC and NIRF.
What Gradlit automates
  • Drive posting with eligibility rules on branch, CGPA, backlogs and batch.
  • Eligible list built from live exam and attendance records, not old sheets.
  • Shortlists, round-by-round results and offer letters tracked per student.
  • Placement statistics by company, branch and package, ready for reporting.

A typical campus drive on Gradlit, from the first call with the company to the final placement report.

  1. Two weeks before

    1Record the company

Add the company, role, package, location, bond terms and the rounds it will run. The drive appears on the placement calendar.

AI compares the job description with each eligible student's subjects and projects, and suggests who needs SQL, aptitude or interview practice.

  4. Five days before

    4Open applications

Eligible students receive the drive notice and opt in. Consent to share their profile with the company is recorded per drive.

  6. After the drive

Trust notes

How student data and AI are handled.

Student data belongs to the college

It is never sold, and it is shared with companies only with the student's consent for placements.

Decisions stay with the college

AI does not decide who is admitted, who passes or who is shortlisted.

Disabled during exams

The AI Study Guide explains topics from the college's materials and is switched off during exams.

Role-based access

Separate access for students, faculty, accounts and placement staff, with every change logged.

Questions

Asked by colleges like yours.

Are student details shared with companies?

Only with the student's consent for that drive. Students choose to apply, and only the fields the company needs are shared.

Does AI decide who gets shortlisted?

No. Companies and the placement officer make shortlisting decisions. AI only suggests preparation focus for students.

Can alumni referrals come into the placement cell?

Yes. Referrals posted by alumni from the Alumni Network appear as opportunities for the placement officer to review.
